Who would Ferrari replace him with though at this stage ?

Sutil is the only driver I can think of that would do a good job at short notice.....just make sure you don't spill his pint :)

I have to say though that the article is a bit hysterical. It's only been one race although he seems to end up in prangs so often. Wonder if his peripheral vision was affected in that crash, a friend who is a highly respected eye surgeon suggested this might be the case.

Shame really. He was great in 08 and v nearly took the title. Never been the same since though.
Senna said the accident in Aus was his fault, but it takes two to tango and looking at the footage Massa just pushed him off the track all the way to the right. Senna had nowhere to go. It has been the same many times before. Massa insists despite the result being obvious.
I think now people will BEGIN to see that Monaco and other instances were maybe not ALL Hammies fault.

all this is nonsense about him not being the same since his accident. Take hockenhiem 2010 for example.
If he has the right people behind him I'm sure he can perform, but yes I too would be interested to see Algursari in the car.

I'd have to disagree with the comment on Massa's form in 2008. He did well, but it was a season of mistakes from the front runners and was only decided in the end by a Toyota staying out too long on drys in the rain in Brazil, not by any spectacular driving by the eventual winner (Hamilton, though Massa did well in the final race). Watching the races of 2008 recently, I couldn't help but think that if Kimi hadn't had such a poor run mid-season, that he'd have taken a second title.

Hotshoe, come on! Monaco not all Lulu's fault? Even Lulu admitted that it was entirely his fault, eventually. Some of the collisions between the pair last year could be described as 50/50 but not Monaco, that was pure dodgems on Lulu's part.

I'd like to know what's wrong with Flip, has Alonso's dominance affected his confidence? have the recent Ferrari's been so bad that it takes an Alonso to make it competitive? lets face it Fisi struggled big time with it. Has he never fully recovered from his accident? Whatever the reason it's a shame, he kept close to Schumacher, beat Kimi over a season and a half and deserved the 2008 championship having a slower car than Lulu, major team errors let him down and he had to beat a much tougher team mate than the Bejeweled one had.

It would be wise to keep him the full year. Dumping drivers mid year will not instantly gain results but it will certainly set a president that all future drivers will have to continually worry and the last thing you want are drivers under even more team created pressure, it will only increase mistakes on the track.
