The top six seperated by less than four tenths, Hamilton, Webber and Schumacher make it 2-0 in qualifying against there respective team mates, awesome Raikkonen and Alonso showing Massa the full six tenths and more. Schumacher the fastest through the speed trap and Vettel starting on hard tyres just to throw a joker in at the start.

Lewis showing what his fans know, he is naturally the quickest around an f1 circuit he needs to convert these poles into wins.

Great to see Schumi up there, and interesting to see Vettel playing the strategy game so soon, have to say respect to the Lewis fans who new the RB7 had so much to do with the youngsters record breaking season and now we are seeing how things should pan out when cars are more similar in performances.

We now no some of the supposed knowledgeable and experience f1 fans on this site are not as knowledgeable as they think they are.

Jenson is just so dangerous in a race and i may have to accept that JB is perfect for the Pirelli's.

While the commentators also thought that Vettel's tyre choice was purely strategic, he was interviewed and said it was simply because he thought he'd do a faster time on the hard. Either way, it seems at this early stage that without the EBD that he and Webber are closer to the way they were in 2010 in quali, where they were usually not far apart.

Ron, Little Lulu didn't look to happy during the post qualifying press conference did he? Permanent bubble damage? or like me does he think being a tenth ahead of his "slower" team mate just isn't very impressive? Reporter - "You're starting from the best place Lulu" Lulu " I don't know if I am" hahaha!
Quite funny seeing him sat in the middle of JB and Schumacher, he looked like the kid that was just about to have his dinner money nicked by the two big boys.
Good job by Schumacher, Webber and Kimi. Vettel impressed on harder tyres, could be a good move for the race. I'm expecting the pole sitter to be mugged off the line again but it's a good line up for a great race.

With the Red Bulls giving up to 13 kmh away in top speed to Merc and Mclaren, DRS will be of little use to them for overtaking but they should benefit from slightly less excessive tyre wear and better race pace than their qualifying suggests. Ross Brawn has now admitted the front wing stalling is more a quali aid, not much help to race set up, almost guarantees they will move backwards after lights out, probably still chewing their tyres. If the car doesn't look after the tyres then the driver has to, looks like tears and dummy throwimg in the Mclaren camp come the chequered flag then as Lewis doesn't do conservative or strategic does he. Should be great.
