F1 » Mercedes hails 'superb' Schumacher

It's taken longer to get back to the sharp end of the F1 grid than he'd have liked, but Michael Schumacher was enjoying being back in contention at Sepang.

Theoretically they should be even stronger in Shanghai, since that circuit has the longest straight in F1 today... It's great to see Schumi back on form, but Nico seems to be a bit shaken by his form so far this season. I know it's still early days but ironically, despite beating Schumi for two years I think he will need to up his game now if he's not to risk losing his seat for next season.

Its great to see Shumi back in form let's hope it translates into a good race...even more we have more racers at the top of the grid that don't mind passing and fighting for the win...if this continues we will have some good F1 old school racing this season...welcome back formula one!!!! Let's minimise penalties and bring on the racing...good luck to all especially the fans

Order is finally about to be restored. Hope the tyres don't let him down, tmr. Class is permanent, move over young pups and let the rubber thrifters beware.
The Kaiser is on the prowl.

Great to see him at the right end of the grid. The last two years i'm sure the car wasn't to his liking and have taken alot of flack which was not deserved, where as most people would of given up he has continued to give his all. On Sky I really thought he deserved more coverage for the third place, For all the money they have thrown at their coverage i thought it was poor, seemed to be very biased towards the brits.

JNA. If you are going to post such as pointed comment as the one you entered on this portal twice Could you at least Spell the names correctly So that we can understand just whom it is you were implying something dodgy about !
I will finish my post by saying I have been a Schumacher fan since as long as I can remember and I must say his Second time around Career is now paying him back for all the wonderful work commitment and understanding that only he and Brawn really can be able to achieve using the tools that they had to use these last couple of years and I take absolutely nothing away from Rosberg's part in getting these results of competitiveness Of course the whole team must be applauded for the relentless efforts and long may this success continue lets hope they will go to achieve some wins this season to really show they are real contenders and not just an early flash in the pan this year
Well done chaps keep up the great work !

Radioactive, Nicely said. How many other multiple World Champions would risk coming back into the sport in their 40's? How many would put up with a completely uncompetitive car for 2 years and not quit? So far Schumacher might not have added much to his previous F1 records but he's reinforced his reputation of commitment and determination, a true professional. This is a better car and I hope he has a great year in it and enjoys himself, he has nothing to prove.
