An electrical storm and torrential rain has forced the race officials to throw an early red flag at Sepang in the Malaysian Grand Prix after just eight laps of racing.

what a race from perez he just vwent right up in my standards and fully deserved the winn unlukily for him it didnt work out but 2nd is a great result for him...as for mclaren what the hell was the back jack man doing absolutly stuffed hamiltons chance of winning. congrats to alonso not bad drive.......driver of the day is blaitenly PEREZ!!

good result by teflon in a bit of a lottery of a race due to the conditions.

i'm in the netherlands at the moment and couldn't understand the commentary but it looked to me as if hamilton finished the race on inter tyres... can someone confirm.

drive of the day was perez for sure, absolutely brilliant drive today, well done.

well done hamilton keep coming 3rd while button and vettel dont score and that will win the title with a few wins on the way,i think hamiltons learning to be content with the points and looking at the bigger picture

Two strange calls in the race. Perez being told that the position is very important when he was pressuring Alonso, and the three transmissions to Vettel, that we were allowed to hear, on the final lap.

Was a message passed to Sauber from Ferrari to back off, and what will race control say about the RBR transmissions?

Yeah, some very interesting comms there, and they were only the ones that got telecast, i bet there'll be plenty more to be said about both Red Bull and
Sauber. But yes, brilliant drive by FA even though I wanted Perez to take the win for all the guys working at Sauber. A wet weather drive like that is almost as good as Schumi pre-retirement, he was the wet weather master.
