So will a nasty accident. I was always perplexed that Brawn GP were never punished for that incident, I suppose Ross Brawns friendship with Charlie Whiting would explain it.

EAsy people.

Lewis drove well today, he didnt actualy put a foot wrong. He lost 3 seconds on the first stop and 4 on the 2nd. And lost a good 3 - 5 secs behind Buttons collision. Firstly dodging debris then waiting a few corners to overtake the ailing Mclaren.

Alonso drove well for the win an Perez a great job.

JB drove terrible as did Vettel and his disgusting show of toys out of pram after the race. I was pretty disgusted by Vettel today. His comment was uncalled for when it was his fault. He wasnt even cuttng to the race line. As he cut left then immediately went right onto the race line.

Its clear Seb is struggling, he dosnt like the car moving without the magic EBD. Webbers actually driving the Bull better this year so far. I predict Webber to beat Vettel in the championship.

Taipan, you have gone off on a tangent mate no one has suggested that your posts are for Lewis so i dont no why you would mention that, all i'm saying is that you are starting to back track in your statements when you say you have nothing against Lewis when most on this site knows you do.

As for Lewis 2012 he is still as quick as he has ever been quali shows that but the Pirelli's in race wont support Lewis's style of driving which is hard and aggressive i have been saying this from last year when he would pass Button for fun and Button would run him down and catch him something Button could not have done in 2010 on the Bridgestones even Mike Gascoyne of Caterham has said that Lewis is struggling to conserve the Pirelli's because of his hard driving and so has Damon Hill, and any non-blinkered f1 fan can see that

Remember Taipan Lewis came into f1 driving hard and aggressive, he beat a 2xwdc driving hard, he became the youngest wdc driving hard, it was not until Canada 2010 which saw a race which had high tyre degradation and producing one of the most entertaining races of that year causing the FIA to say this is the sort of race they want to see all of the time and then deciding to ask Pirelli to make tyres degrade quicker to cause teams to use strategy more and trying to make f1 in 2011 like the race in Canada 2010.

The new Pirelli's assist JB's smoother style than it does Lewis's aggressive style and Lewis cannot drive the way we saw pre 2011 because the Pirelli's wont allow it so if Lewis knows this why should he still want to drive hard instead of trying to adapt. Its a no brainer really. But yes i miss his hard driving in a race, i suppose i will just have to enjoy quali where i can see Lewis drive hard as the pirelli's wont be doing much laps hence not wearing as much as in a ra

ronnie. lulu being the youngest wdc did not last very long, did it? but your comments are odd. are you saying that bernie deliberately told pirelli to make tyres that degrade quicker, in order to hobble lulu? but pirell didnt supply the tyres in 2009 or 2010. so lulus deterioration in ability was his own fault, such as last year, where his mind was elsewhere, something to which he admitted. i dont know what is his excuse this year. hardly tyres, as he has always been hard on tyres.

Spot on comment from ron! Finally some sense on this website. When lewis has tyres to drive hard and fast as possible button is nowhere near.
Richard- if you read rons comment correctly he quite clearly suggests that the fia wanted tyres to degrade quick after the canada race where it turned out to be very entertaining due to the high degredation. He doesnt claim they have done it against lewis. I think we have all learned that richard and taipan have a massive problem against Lewis and that will never change. They wont even spell his name correctly and use play ground talk. Lewis hamilton is a fantastic driver and is a lot faster than button.

@Lee @ Ron, sounds fishy, tiregate? But with F1, ANY conspiracy is possible. The tires are as they are, if Lewis can't adapt as Button has, he will mostly continue to out qualify him, yet finish behind him where it counts.

richard, how is me saying that the FIA asking Pirelli to make quicker wearing tyres in 2011 to make f1 more entertaining so teams have to make more strategy calls can be interpreted as me saying Bernie asked Pirelli to hobble Lewis. You are either not understanding what im wighting or you are just being contrary. And in 2009 it is well known Lewis had a bad car and in 2010 Lewis was in contention right up to the last race along with Alonso, Webber and Vettel and he was able to drive hard, all i'm saying is he cant do that anymore for the reasons Mike gascoyne of Caterham as explained in the Express and is one of the main reasons he would pick JB over Hamilton. And you say Lewis as always been hard on his tyres derrr that's what my post was saying. As i said you maybe are being contrary.

lee. nothing against lulu or button. button has matured from a playboy of old, to be a good competitive driver. but for you to say that lulu is a lot faster than button, is just emphasising that you are a lulu fanboy. by what standards do you consider him faster? in oz, button was FIRST, lulu was THIRD. now assuming that the faster driver reaches the flag first, does that not show you that over a race distance, button is as fast if not faster.
and as i already pointed out, in sepang, alonso, and perez were both faster. and as for your remark about tyre degradation. do you really think that it was done to hobble lulu. he is a highly paid professional driver, and has to adapt, like ever one else, to the equipment provided. if he cannot, then he is not a "complete" driver
