Richard again let me make it clear as your having some trouble understanding the clear comment. The fia DID NOT ask pirelli for high degrading tyres against lewis. They DID ask so that races would be more entertaining, not against lewis. Myself and ron have both said this. Please tell me where in either of our comments in suggests they have done this to hobble lewis? Your hate is so strong that your reading things that are not there

? but pirell didnt supply the tyres in 2009 or 2010

McLaren didnt have a car worth talking about until half way of the season and by then Button and Barrichelo has grossed up enough points to win the title.....

FIA did request for high degrading tyres because it would make F1 more exciting but it actually killed it off... drivers are scared to qualify saving tyres.... I could remember Hakkinnen chase down Schumacher who had a 13 second lead in Spa, I could remember Schumacher Chased down Jean Alesi who had a 20sec lead in either Barcelona or Hungary

That would never happen on Pirelli tyres

lee and ron. i do wish that you would read my post. nowhere did i say that pirelli were asked to design tyres to hobble lulu.
if you do bother to read, i asked a QUESTION, following rons comment. "do you really believe that bernie asked pirelli to deliberately provide a tyre to hobble lulu?"

so dont rush to criticise me for stating somethng which i didnt!

ron. i wouldnt suggest what answer you should give. but if i may now make a suggestion.... a "yes" or "no" would appear to be the answer.

glad that you went back and read the question. sometimes i can misread a comment, but i normally apologise. at least i have an excuse....old age. whats yours? oops, thats another question!

Evening boys

Good stuff Ron, so last year all of Lulu's troubles were because Vettel's car was too fast, Now that Lulu has the fastest car it's all the tyres fault.
As soon as the FiA give Lulu different tyres to everyone else I'll believe you.

Taipan i now see where richard get a lot of his blarney from.

Regards Vettel i said that Lewis,Alonso and button would have done a similar or better job than Vettel in the RB7 not that Vettel was the cause of Lewis's in different season. Lewis blitz his tyres in 2011 and has to take a lot of the blame for last season along with some Mclaren mess ups. And i also said that Vettel would be exposed without the EBD when people like you and richard and tealeaf and Angelina was saying it was his skill factor, now there is no MEGA grip we see Vettel cant even put the RB8 on pole. This is not a criticism just an observation.

I maybe a fanboy but if anyone wants to take this great sport seriously we all need to keep up with the changes and how they effect different types of drivers.

ron. of course the rb 7 was a good package which included the ebd. but dont forget, all cars caught up with the ebd, and the mclaren was reckoned to be the fastest car for the last number of races, yet seb was able to pole with the second best car.
this year, so far, the mclaren is the fastest car at the start of the season, and se is still able to match the mclaren, with webber also in the hunt.
after two races you cannot make a decision as to who is coping best. seb and mark may be having problems with tyres too, but i dont hear them being used as an excuse.
and for your info, it was reported before the quali that seb had a virus, and it was possible that he wouldnt be able to take part. but again, this was not used as an excuse.
but you still did not answer my original question!

another question. where do i get my "blarney" from?

The problem is Ron you only look at things through Lulu tinted glasses, I do know that you are real F1 fan and I respect you as such but anyone can twist things to suit one driver or another. IF McLaren had played fair in 2007 and IF Ferrari had built the best car for the last 2 years Alonso would have been a 5 time world champion, IF Lotus had build a more reliable car Clark would have won 5 world championships in 6 years, IF Prost had a fraction more luck in 2 races he would have been a 6 time World champion. You can't argue with any of the above, but the truth is it didn't happen so you move on.
Rules are rules, tyres are tyres, cars are cars, anyone can twist things to make their favoured driver the best thing ever.
