F1 » Karthikeyan criticised by Vettel, penalised by officials

HRT driver Narain Karthikeyan has been compared to a "cucumber" by Sebastian Vettel, and given a post-race by the race stewards. But at least Jenson Button doesn't blame him.

Can I point out the obvious to some of you who obviously can't spot the obvious?

Vettel was lapping NK, it's up to him to let the faster car through! 100% his fault, and he's accepted that, unlike you lot.

The Button incident they were racing for position,100% Button's fault and he's accepted that.

Why did so many disagree with taipan when he is stating a fact?

that was nice one.
i just wanted to say don't blame Vettel or Richard for supporting Vettel.

There's a simple explanation to that question Angelina, when a fanboy sees the name Taipan it triggers their fear of truth response, they start twitching and sweating and the only thought that runs through their head is disagree, disagree, must disagree, make it go away!!

Doesn't work though, the truth is out there! haha

I lost most respect for Schumacher as a person when he tried to crash Villeneuve off the track in the last race of the 1997 season, and all of it when he failed to apologize for his actions and congratulate the Canadian after the race.

I lost most respect for Vettel as a person when he smashed into Webber and then blamed the Australian for his own mistake. His actions today proved I was right the first time and that he too is, well, not nice.

However, as drivers, their talents (at their peaks) cannot be denied. I fully respect their abilities to drive an F1 car faster than their competitors. But that's ali I respect with either.

What a bunch of nonsense.
This is a classic "moving chicane" incident.
How can someone blame Vettel being upset that a rolling chicane stole his points from him?
This is the big league. Not go-kart racing.

These "cucumber" fanboys will some day make me hate Hamilton who i like. He might b a "cucumber" but is nice n talented though he cannot use his talent n doesn't feel d need to use it.

BTW this is d first time Vettel is not being diplomatic in an interview.

Atleast shud make some guys happy who call him a robot or characterless inspite of always showing humor n emotions in all interviews.

I feel bad that I rooted for this guy to win the WDC last year. Without the best car, his behaviour has not been upto the mark. That Webber is beating him in the qualifying is probably difficult for him to digest.

I really hope that he doesnt make it to the top 5 in this years championship.

ivan. in case you didnt see the race, vettel passed webber and was hunting down lulu. and he also beat webber in oz.
dont forget, in 2010 he won the wdc despite never having led the championship at any time through the year. and he will certainly be very all up in the wdc at the end of the year.
