F1 » Massa's day made worse by threat of Perez

Felipa Massa had another poor day at the race track. What made his 15th position feel even worse was that his team mate won the race, and his mooted replacement Sergio Perez shone in second.

Sergio Perez first ever race for Sauber was a 'wow' moment, today the stars aligned and he put in another one, in conditions Felipe has a rep for struggling in. A glimpse of the near future pehaps. Mr Slim is a very rich man!

I feel sorry for Massa. It's painful to see how he's gone downhill last year and so far this year. But it seems obvious that both he and Ferrari should move on. Ferrari cannot afford to have a second driver that is so far behind Alonso, and therefore not marking any points.

Lets stop and look at this problem with Massa a little more closely. The problem is the car. Massa has not suddenly lost
his skills. Something is very wrong here. I have very little
trust in Stefano Domenicali or any of the honchos at Ferrari.
Willing to bet that both cars are Not equal.
This under performing non sense is noise, just 'Bulldog feathers' I cannot forget what happened to Kimi. His car got slow, then
Alonzo arrived. Time will tell all

@ Jose. If the problem is the car, why did Fernando come 1st and Felipe come 15th?

Additionally, Button came 14th (around 18 seconds ahead of Felipe) and did an extra pit stop too.

Ferrari are loosing important World Championship points if one of the drivers barely scores anything.

I dont get why you pay a driver, and then needs his mechanic to tell him how to drive his car over the radio. Or does Massa carry his own spanners in the cockpit to help Rob Smedley at a pitstop too??
Swap him now, and let the Mexican wave roll in....!!
