While never truly content with third place in a Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton nonetheless declared himself "satisfied" with his podium finish in Malaysia in the circumstances

My dear friends at Crash, How can directly quoting someone else's post be contrived as an attack on said poster?
Does that mean the original poster had in fact attacked themselves without knowing it?

100 comments and counting, you got give it up for Hamilton...I guess its only fair to ask is Mr one middle finger having personal problems? cause I remember certain individual we painted with that brush last season for driving hard and having accidents.

Good morning all from from this little corner of Asia. I became a fan of F1 because of Lewis in his debut year. He was young, he was coloured, and he was talented and he put a double wdc to shame. I remembered Alonso was the one behaving like a spoilt brat when he couldn't have his way and got upstaged by a rookie upstart! But now in Ferrari Alonso is a voice of reason and showing his true talent surprising even Ferrari itself!

Lewis meanwhile got caught up with his early success...dumped his early girlfriend and became a lapdog of glamourous Spicy, and no longer believed daddy knows best! When the wins didn't come and Spicy was too busy with Simon to follow him around the globe, he lost his cool and got into one too many scrapes with Massa.

But this year things are beginning to change again hopefully for the better. His car is beginning to show signs of competitiveness, 2 poles out of 2, no serious mishaps, 2 podiums (albeit only 3rds) and 2nd in wdc points. He showed a more matur

He showed a more matured acceptance of the pit's shortcomings and his disappointments were more directed at himself for not converting poles into wins. All these have reignited my interest in watching F1 and hoping to see him on the winner's podium again.

Meanwhile, in the McLaren camp having 2 top drivers, one cool and measured and the other competitive and no longer impetuous, certainly can't be bad! There is a good chance of McLaren winning both driver's and manufacturer's titles this year and I certainly won't be putting my money against them.

Ferrari with only one good leg have no hope for the constructor's championship. SV's frustration at not being on pole and leading from P1 is beginning to show so early in the season, and this doesn't bodes well for Redbull!

So season 2012...F1 bring it on!

arcuid. i think that speculation is warranted here. sweet dreams!

Richard, you can speculate all you like! No one is stopping you. Lmao! I was only suggesting to let the tabloids dig up up stuff if there is any "personal problems," so will you chill?

@Taipan If you think McLaren should sack Lewis and save themselves 15 mill quid, then Ferrari should sack Massa and save themselves the trouble of losing valuable points.

arcuid. totally chilled, but as the thread is about lulu, and there is apparently no problem with the car, then (whether or not its speculation), the problem can only be personal. in fact, he did say he wasnt totally "with it" at sepang. and that was on a post race interview. i never read tabloids!

incidentally, re massa, italian press are reporting that massa was being used to test new parts, and that his car was not the same as alonsos.

@richard Did I say you did read the tabloids? Nope so relax! If Lewis, wasn't totally into it, it could mean lots of things. I'll leave you to speculate since your hell bent in trying to figure it out.

Arcuid, No need to jump on the fanboy bandwagon, I thought you were more level headed than that. Read the context of my post again, it was a reply to the fanboy who was convinced that McLaren had intentionally held up Lulu at the pit stop "It was a sick attempt to place Jenson in front of Lewis"
Wouldn't you agree that it would make more sense to sack him rather than sabotage him as the fanboy claimed?

March 28, 2012 12:55 PM

Sorry Taipan I don't agree with you there since Massa is UNDER PERFORMING more than Lewis who so far has FINISHED IN THE PODIUM TWICE and many Tifosi are not happy with Massa. It does not make sense to sack Lewis over two 3rd finishes. No team boss would be dumb enough to do that when both his drivers are scoring points for the team.
