Arcuid, Don't you think this is a very subdued Lulu that we've seen in the first 2 races? (I mean on track) There's no doubt that consistency and cutting out the silly mistakes is what he's been needing but he's just not been very racy, at all.
The McLaren is obviously a good car but he didn't make up any ground on Alonso and Perez and Webber and Vettel were catching him. Same in Australia, Button was able to pull away at will and Lulu couldn't keep up with Vettel.
What's going on?

Agreed Sunny, he can only be happy that Button and Vettel DNF'd.

I should change the above to did not score before someone whines at me.

Well Taipan, its either make the same mistakes like last year or drive a clean race and keeping out of trouble. yes it may not be the Lewis we know but I think he wants to limit mistakes. Just saying. I mean he did get pounded a lot publicly and I don't only mean here at Crash and that sucks for any driver. DNF is ok. LOL

2009, its not a matter of conveniently forgetting what happened at Silverstone when Mansell won and the crowd ran on the track, its about me being a youngster and just remembering my old man going mad when Mansell won and i just remember Mansell being swamped by the fans. But if you say that the fans treated Senna badly and that they clapped when Schumi broke his leg then it more proves my point to Taipan that F1 fans had a football fan mentality from before 2007 thank you 2009 for confirming this for me and Taipan.

whitmarsh was asked why lulu was so slow. and he declined to comment saying he didnt want to go into that at present. he didnt make the obvious answer that we could understand, such as tyres went off, car problem etc. so maybe there is a personal problem again this year?

richard, let them sort out whatever the problem is. For now its too early speculate if there a "personal problem." That's the tabloids job. Ok signing off and good night from Asia.

@ yangpunk , it was just a sick attempt to place Jenson in front of Lewis, JB realizing he was not going to pass him on track after Lewis fended him off running up to turn 1 after exiting the pits.
hmm, Is Jenson the Nr 1 at McLaren ?

Oh there's no doubt about the last sentence Richard, it's the previous drivel that's fallen out the stupid tree and hit all the branches on they way down that's under question.

Wouldn't it be easier for McLaren just to sack Lulu and save themselves 15m quid a year rather than go to all there devious lengths to scupper him Blackstarlete? or maybe I'm thinking too far outside the box.
