Don't see any possibility of interest on Sauber's part. It's clear that they have a sweet deal going with TelMex, who just happens to have another driver in the pipeline, Esteban Gutierrez. Maybe HRT would be interested... even then, bring money!

Perez and Ferrari rumor is just in news. There's no suggestion Ferrari will sack Masa immediately and replace with Perez.
Sutil will need sponsor if he wants to drive Sauber because Sauber need money to run its team.
Perez comes with load of sponsor money.
If Perez gone and then Telemex will go too.
Also Perez has still make a lot of mistakes even 2012 is his second year in F1.
So Ferrari will want to wait and see Perez development further.

Sutil has sponsors but not in the capability to buy a seat. I'd think Alguersuari would be more interesting cos with him on board there might be a possibility to lure over CEPSA from STR. And as someone already pointed out, Gutierrez seems to be next in line anyway, should Perez go to Ferrari next season - cos I think it will take a lot for them to replace Massa now. And as long as he performs I think Kobayashi will have a place in the team unless they get really desperate, he really seems to be very popular with everyone at Sauber. Based on their current performance I would say Perez to Ferrari in 2013, and Gutierrez and Kobayashi at Sauber. But it will depend on how well all involved will be doing over the course of the season of course!

From some comments here, I'm not sure that some people realize that TelMex is behind Esteban Gutierrez too! Sauber is not going to lose their TelMex sponsorship just because Perez goes to Ferrari, if he does, if Gutierrez replaces Perez. That is why I said what I did in the first post on this topic. Hopefully this will clear matters up for some people...

Sauber will have Perez for the rest of the season.
TelMex sponsorship says Sutil best look for a another
team. Not going to happen at Sauber.
Sutil needs a smile from 'Lady Luck'. A Friday drivers spot
might be his only shot.

Yeah, rather optimistic on Sutil's part. But you can't blame the guy for trying I guess.

I kinda rate him as a driver. He's better than a lot of guys on the grid. But he seems to not have the personality for it. Seems to think the world owes him something.

I hope Kobayashi starts putting in the drives I think he's capable of!

Sauber doesn't need or want somebody like Sutil. They have a 3rd driver already in waiting. But I really don't think Perez is leaving this year. He's committed himself to the team for this year and it wouldn't be a wise move to make the switch to Ferrari mid-season. Badoer and Fisi tried that and they were just as awful as Massa in a poor car.
