Sebastian Vettel is to explain why he ignored calls to park his car in the closing stages of the Malaysian GP - and could face further hot water for gesticulating at Narain Karthikeyan.

If this was lewis who ignored team orders, the internet would have crashed from aaaall the haters, especially the media. Its so strange that they have not picked up on all of this misconduct. it just shows to show you how everyone is biased when it comes to misconducted from drivers. And yes, i like Lewis a lot because he has brought something different to the sport. And oh, i lke vettel too but his behavior shows just how much he is human as well.

So you are saying ignoring team orders and his poor behavior off the track is because he is mad about being behind his team mate.? Sunny, do you approve of vettel's comments and actions? I am asking your true opinion. You have often asked me for the same. And I have been straight up with you.

I will say its championship & maybe even being behind teammate temporarily. As beating teammate is Vettel's no.1 goal unlike some young midfield drivers.

U maynot like him but Sebastian Vettel is a 2xWDC, his teammate is not. The team will b lenient for Seb for sure.

Its diff. for people like u and me & its diff. 4 Seb Vettel earning in 10's of millions from stingy Mateschitz who doesn't pay half million 2 STR drivers and paid nothing 2 Daniel Riccardio for his HRT drive last yr.

Seb has offers from all top teams like Ferrari, Macca and Merc. RBR cannot afford 2 lose him. They won't get a good replacement for Seb Vettel. They wouln't b champions 2011 & Macca would if RBR had 2 Webbers in 2011. That cannot b said about Webber. So whether or not fans /haters like Seb or not, RBR cannot & won't treat Seb harshly even if he doesen't obey orders. BTW this is not d first time Seb didn't obey team orders and I am sure Seb Vettel will convince his bosses that he didn't know about the order or maybe that not following d order was a good decision or simply apologise only not 2 follow in next race.

Didn't expect u won't approve Vettels comments and behavior.
It was at d spur of d moment. Thats expected from a 2XWDC. Didn't u expect it?

True Seb's words were harsh but other champions have said worse to other drivers in d past, haven't they?

Middle finger is very common and again in the heat of d moment. But Seb was right. NK didn't obey blue flags. Sebastian Vettel didn't lose temper over nothing unlike some former champions.

I'd like to see the information the team had which inspired the order to retire the car. Was it really an emergency? Did RBR see that they weren't going to get points from Vettel and decide that a retirement would be advantageous heading to China? The car made it to the finish line, but who knows.

I like that the guy wants to race, but this isn't his first instance of ignoring the team. Wasn't he told in Germany AND India last year not to push for fast lap late in the race? Yet I believe he did just that in both instances. I don't know, tough to decide as of yet. Part of me embraces the racer, the other is concerned he thinks he's bigger than the team. Is it a case of someone who thinks he's bigger than the team (or maybe that he IS the team), or simply a racer who wants to race? Thoughts, anyone?
