F1 » Anderson: Red Bull 'definitely not a happy camp'

Gary Anderson: Red Bull are obviously still trying to find their feet with their new car - there were not many times during the race weekend in Malaysia when they looked like the real opposition.

As much as I respect Adrian Newey, and SV for that matter, the fact that they are struggling can only be good for Formula 1.
More competition = better racing.
Besides, when they DO get it together, as they inevitably will, maybe Mark Webber will finally have a good year instead of Seb. He deserves it.

Mark Webber doesnt deserve anything. If he was good enough he would already have two titles to his name.

Vettel is hardly strugggling as much as people make out. 2nd place in the first race in the dry, whilst the sepang race obviously counts as an anomaly for everyone given the conditions

The car certainly isn't competitive and you get the feeling that if Adrian Newey doesn't cook up something soon then that car is pretty much toast in terms of short-term competitiveness. I will not write it off though as the elements in malaysia proved, anything can happen. Either way this will be a fun season

This Anderson sounds like an agent from McLaren's psychological warfare department.
Red Bull are not in trouble. 2nd in Australia. And Vettel was reeling in Hamilton for the kill in Sepang.
Sure, they are having problems because There have been 3 rules aimed squarely at THEM for 2012. Stiffening the front wing test. Outlawing diffuser blowing. And forcing them to heavily modify the high front chassis that they have spent years developing.
Its the same way they crippled Michael in 2005 with the contived tire rules.
Hopefully Red Bull will bounce back. They don't have all that much to make up.

Webber will never beat Vettel over a season as he has never b4 in all d full seasons Seb Vettel has raced inluding Vettel's rookie season.

Vettel was very very impressive in STR in 2007 n 2008 though many haters have forgotten that.
2007 season (though raced only 2nd half) was impressive enough that Mclaren wanted 2 replace FA with Vettel for 2008. They were willing 2 offer Redbull multi-millions 2 buyout Vettel's contract. Redbull refused 2 sell Vettel for multimillions b4 2008 season.
In 2008, Vettel scored more points than Bourdais(his teammate), Webber & Coulthard (Redbull) 's points added together. Isn't it impressive.

Further, Vettel had a racewin in a car which was 7th n shud have been 8th in WCC as they were above Redbull's brand team.

You can't ride them off yet, although I am glad they have made these rule changes. I mean full credit to newey for he is a genious, but last year became borin it was more about who is going to come second, so far it's been about the whole podium. One other sport I love changes the rulz every year and it annoys me, but with f1 I think it is a good thing to keep teams on their toes. 2010 was great I just hope we get another season like that not the (not taking anything away from sebs driving skill) Predictable display we call the 2011 season.

Once again Angelina comes out with her history lesson. Why not take on board the present. And the usual cohorts come out with their well used and worn diatribe on Webber. Must be hard sitting in your Vettel shrines and watching your man suffer thus far this year. 2-0 down on his team mate in quali 6th in the points. No doubt RB will buy some new toys for the "favoured one" and he'll bounce back. Until then though...im enjoying this lol

bernie. i am not surprised that angie has to provide a history lesson, as there are a lot of posters here that seem to have never looked at previous races etc.
after TWO races, in both of which seb was ahead of webber, you take this as proof that webber is better than seb? just because he qualified fractionally quicker?
check the history books...NO wdc has been crowned, as a result of their qualifying position!

Richard how about we see how the season pans out in lieu of continually ramming Seb and histrionics down our throats.

Allow the racing speak for itself which has been good.

No offence intended but it gets a bit much at times particularly when Angy also decides to use the Forum as a Blackboard with repetitive posts.
