pointing out that one of them was a rookie (Jackie Stewart described him as the 'best prepared rookie ever!), i take it that you agree that the double world champion scored the better results, Alonso rose to the challenge when the pressure was on, the rookie, despite the full backing of the team, failed!

Lulu was very good. Almost WDC and beat Ferdi in d same car. How can anyone expect him 2 follow teamorders to let his teammate win?

BTW I hate Ferdi. I hate it if d driver requests d team to issue team orders to his teammate. Losing a race win or WDC due to teamorders is really annoying even to fans.

yeah, it makes business sense to pay a double world champion all that money so that they install a rookie as the no1 driver

Hammi must be the only f1 driver who has the ability to make seemingly intelligent people come out with such irrational comments, just because he sent the Spaniard and his bigoted fans packing with a record breaking season. That's right Alonso had to face a rookie who broke records in his 1st season and in doing so 2007 became the only season where a f1 rookie finished above a reigning 2xwdc. A REAL HISTORY MAKING SEASON.

BTW
looking @ lulu and button's current performance, i will like 2 say that both lulu and Ferdi r highly overrated. Macca 2007 was d class of d field.

Ferrari lovers calling it a dog, mind that massa is not fast after accident. Ferrari has two slow drivers. We don't know d true speed and potential of d car in d hands of Vettel or Hamilton or Kimi but definitely, it will look better. Ferrari r d team with highest budget, so no one can/shud blame their car.

I think if a driver becomes a wdc bcoz of his speed, its either d car or luck or d team supporting or both but if he wins bcoz of teamorders or bcoz d fasters cars breakdown too often, its drivers talent.

I think some people accept drivers as a deserving WDC only if they r above 30. Lewis has 3 more yrs and Seb Vettel has 6 more yrs to b accepted as deserving WDC's.

Fortunately team principals don't wait that longer.

Alonso not the best? then who is that guy? And hamilton better than alo? Alo outraced ham 10-7 and outqual 9-8 and has equal point even Mclaren has had a clear No1 driver-hamilton. FACTS
