So how does this work...?

A team comes up with a clever solution to a problem, it is protested against (Mainly as someone else didn't think of it first), it is scrutineered, it is cleared and deemed legal, it is then protested against AGAIN, AND AGAIN until the FIA eventually says, "OK, FINE, IT'S BANNED!"????

What a joke. The pinnacle of technological advancement my A55!

No matter what it does it doesn't seem to be doing any good though. 1 point after two races and not even the fastest in qualifying when they are able to use DRS any time they want. Sounds to me like one of those development dead-ends, lots of work and complication for little gain. The Torro Rosso cars were matching Mercedes top speed in practice and they don't have the system. Speed trap data from F1.com in qualifying had Schumacher 1st (312.7kph), but Grosjean 2nd (310.8), with Rosberg (309.9) and Raikonnen 4th (309.8). McLaren's who were on the front row again were 7th and 8th with 309.1 and 308.9.

This is getting stupid , I make this the third time this has been ' Looked at ' by the FIA , Either it illegal or it isn't , What possible difference can it make to look at again ? , This stinks of pressure from somebody ...

All the teams want clarity - Red bull,Renault and McL are about to adopt it - pronto. Well done to Merc ... now sort out the race trim.

Why would Red Bull and McLaren adopt the rear wing system when they are in considerably better shape than the Merc in race trim?

Teams need clarity so everyone can go forward, clearly it seems as if some teams see a problem in something. Glad its Merc that got the jump on the others but as previously stated by someone they are not getting the advantage they expected just yet, I hope its legal so we can move on.

rob. the blown front wing is only of use in quali! ok, some teams may want to be on the front row to boost their chances, but the merc is useless in the race, so i cannot see there being too much of a fuss. now, if merc suddenly found an advantage in the race, things would be different.
