I give the teams more credit of being able to 'see the bigger picture' than Bernie, so - the race wont be going ahead. And that has to be a good thing. F1 may be the dogs dangleys to a lot of us but it's not above EVERYTHING.

Bernie said, "“We're not involved in any of the politics in Bahrain, over who is right or wrong." However, it isn't F1's decision to make. If the protesters decide that F1 is wrong, then, to them, F1 is involved and it doesn't matter what Bernie thinks.

Time to Man-Up Uncle Bernie. No reason to pass the buck,
you are the main Honcho. The traveling circus can come
back in the in the future when the citizens of Bahrain say
'welcome back'. Actually at this point in time you have no
other alternative. The World is watching..
OK Crash?

"We've no way we can force people to go there," he said. "We can't say 'you've got to go' - although they would be in breach of their agreement with us if they didn't go - but it doesn't help. Commercially they have to go, but whether they decide to or not is up to them.

How brave, what he really means is I'll shift the final decision making to the teams so I'm in the clear if things do go t1ts up.

If the teams do end up deciding to go and i think it is very unlikely then if any one driver does not agree with their decision then i think they should be given the choice of not to go racing there.
