Sounds like its race on, but if the teams want to chicken sh*t out its on them. Personally, I wouldnt mind seeing Virgin and HRT go at it for the win.

@rob01, where is your proof that Bernie is striking deals with the crown? Do you even know what your talking about? The stakeholders/organizers are a group of people much larger than one family.

More than political reasons, its good if F1 doesn't go to Bahrain. This and China must be the most awful Tilke circuits on the calendar. Really hope for the day they are taken permanently off the world championship.

The CEO of the Circuit is the crown prince. The president of the Bahrain Automobile Federation is the crown prince. The Bahrain representative on the World Motor Sport Council is.... the crown prince. Rob may be technically slightly incorrect saying Bernie was dealing with the government as he is dealing with the absolute monarch and his son, rather than his uncle, who just happens to be Prime Minister!

For a self made man that does not worry with whom he steps in the back of, Bernie needs to grow a "pair", be the leader he so professes to be and make a decision for goodness sake.
