Fry why are you telling the racing world something we all
know. The quick excuse that the problem was Massa and
his (test) car...Some posters call Ferrari a 'Dog', maybe
so. I prefer a 'Three Legged Greyhound with Red Sunglasses'

Off topic or political, Delete it Crash!, Thanks

AMUSED, that I is..
Jose...

You're not the only one that's amused Jose, I just looked at the championship table and Mr Alonso in his "3 legged greyhound" seems to be ahead of your Golden Goose in his Marvelous McLaren.

DOG gone it!

Agreed Droog, his performances for Ferrari are reminicent of the seasons before he became world champion, he drives the a55 out of the car 'everytime' he gets in it. Would any other driver on the grid have been in a position to score more points in the F2012?

How can anyone objectively argue that the Ferrari is a dog of a car and yet not admit that Alonso is the best all-round F1 driver in action at the moment??

The line between success and failure can be a very thin one. People talk of Michael's record as being unbreakable for a long time, but if you think logically, Alonso could have gone after that record, if things had gone his way a bit more. If Ron Dennis hadn't miscalculated with the rookie in 2007, Alonso would have won his 3rd title, instead of Kimi. If Ferrari hadn't miscalculated in 2010, Alonso would have won his 4th title, instead of Vettel. If Ferrari improve the car this season, only a brave man would rule him out of a title challenge. That could have been title number 5. And Michael's record would have been within reach!

I know it's ifs and buts and woulda coulda shouldas, but it's not exactly an entirely "illogical" set of woulda coulda and shouldas.

could someone explain to me why they wouldn't have all these upgrades on the car NOW ?
if they knew that these upgrades would be better, why didn't they just design the car with these upgrades in the first place?
Could be the cynic in me, but it sounds like they have no idea how to improve the car....!

Please explain they are called updates. I think that means that in all things you try something and make it better by updating it. You do not make updates before trying something first.

As for Ferrari I do hope Alonso wins the championship soon. We now have proof that Hamilton, Button, Webber, Massa, cannot win the Championship with the best or second best car. We still do not know if Vettel can but Alonso has been so close for so many years I do believe he is the only driver with the skill to win a championship without the best or second best car on the grid. If that happens he will be very special and a three times world champion.

i think they are playing mind games and at the same time upgrading their car..everyone knows they cant let out too much sercets about their car performmance until race day..that's the time everyone would know their car performmance..like pat says he is surprise of red bulls performmance..so it up to them(reds) to make their machince a fast one..and i think they will catch up fast!...

Can people stop saying Alonso is the best all round driver! He had his chance at McLaren and flopped and threw his toys out when Lewis move over for him to pass. In 2010 he only hand to pass both Renault drivers and the title is his but the so called best driver spent half the race staring at Petrov's gear box! Practically he bottled the race when it mattered. He has never been far from controversy! Pique or Perez
