Of course it's not in the spirit of what was intended with DRS, but this is how the FIA opperates, with double standards..,in a way no difference to the so called democracy we have in place in some eu states.

The FIA should be ashamed of themselves, behaving like communists !

The way Mclaren was speaking about the f-duct in Aus & sideing with Mercedes made me & many experts to beleive that they were already well advanced with something similar, that now appears to be completly wrong, strange.

It is hippocritical of McLaren to say anything negative about Mercedes' new duct given the fact that McLaren invented the "cheater wing" a couple years ago with the "F-duct." The old F-duct twisted the rules to the maximum. This new duct only does the exact same thing.
I guess the FIA should go to "spec" front and rear wings to prevent BS like this. I mean they've already crippled F1's most exciting technology, the engine, with BS specs, so why not do the wings too?

Ptolomy where in the article does it state that McLaren said anything negative about the Merc's rear wing system? They only said they were awaiting clarification. Besides its Red Bull and Lotus who asked Charlie Whiting to take a look again after he deemed the rear wing system legal.

"blackstar" I'd love to hear your explanation of how the FiA's approval or disapproval of a wing is in fact tantamount to Communism, I suppose you think getting rid of the mass damper was a form of ethnic cleansing? lol
