its not that bad, he will probably get on pole so 5th, then its supposed to be raining as of yet on sunday so if he gets a good start he is well on his way. but as always lets wait and see what happens, thats what its all about.

Cue much foaming at the mouth and gnashing of teeth by the fanboys, claims that Whitmash poured a bag of sugar in said gearbox are soon to appear lol.

Positive thinking there TLG but 1+5 usually equals 6.

Has never won a race having qualified lower than fourth, but still has a fast car, no defending allowed, drs, kers and more overtaking in the first two races than at the same stage last year, it 'should' be no problem to get back to the front. Another McLaren trend is for the race winner (Hamilton or Button) to fail to make the podium in the next race (Malaysia got that out of the way).

Well Button would get his first podium

Alonslow would be bumped up a position on the grid

The same with Vettel and Schummy

Lewis would closer to Massa which doesn't look good in the rain!

Button won't be able to use his favourite Button (DRS)

Would they stop Perez passing Alonslow again can they stop Koby as well?

aawwwwhh, come on! this is not the end of the world for any driver. and who knows, there may be others who have to change an engine or gearbox.

but here is a query. does the gearbox have to last three CONSECUTIVE races, or could the gearbox not be changed in a natural rotational basis, just as an engine can be? if that was the case, surely there need not be a penalty.

the only drawback that i can see, is the fact that lulu drops back from his grid position, so who knows where he would finish
