F1 » Vettel: I felt quite good in the car

Sebastian Vettel insists that the final couple of tenths 'just weren't there' when it came to making the pole position shoot-out in China.

"I don't want to blame it on the car. I was doing almost identical times in all my three laps, which obviously means that there was no room for improvement."

No, don't blame it on the car, blame it on yourself. And obviously means that there was no room for improvement. My, you talk big even starting from eleventh....

Once again the pace of cars are quite strange. In Q2 they were all close , yet in Q3 the times varied much more , with Kobayashi , Rosberg finding large amounts of time. Also the top 5 seemed to be able to improve from Q2 yet the others lost a fair amount (Mark almost 6 tenths).

Interesting to see if Sauber , Mercedes and Lotus can have the race pace of Mclaren and RedBull.

Vettel starts well and if he gets ahead of Mark in this race Mark should do nothing else but practise his starts and pull out his hair before China.
