Oh common Vettel got 5th from 11th position which was impressive most especially in a dry race! yes he did fall asleep in at the start which droped him back to 15th before turn 1, Alonso started from 9th couldn't do much. Thou he didnt battle through traffic like Webber and Lewis, I guess he relied more on his strategy than fighting for position.

From ESPN: "Vettel finished behind team-mate Mark Webber, who was running a different exhaust system all weekend after Vettel reverted to an old system from testing. Red Bull are expected to develop the system on Webber's car over the rest of the season but Vettel, who prefers the balance of the car on the old version, said it was a close call between the two." Found that interesting! :)

Jenny if you re-read my post I said I had some doubts and an even earlier post I said "congrats all round".
Seb's perfomance was just one that impressed me which is why I used a catch all statement.

Wanted a Merc victory, but hoped it would be the other way round.
How many wheels is that now that have not been properly attached to Schumis car.
I can think of at least 3 occasions. Dissapointing

@Jennie,In his first year driving for Red Bull in 2009, Vettel finished the season as the youngest-ever World Drivers' championship runner-up. He also secured Red Bull's first pole position and race win in the team's history. The following year he went on to become the youngest driver ever to win the World Drivers' Championship. In the same year he helped Red Bull win the team's first World Constructors' Championship. He followed up his first championship with a second in 2011, becoming the youngest double as well as youngest consecutive champion.
Vettel holds numerous other "youngest" Formula One records, among them: the youngest driver to have taken part in an official practice session of a Grand Prix, to score championship points, to lead a race, to secure pole position, and to win a race. Common?

Hi Eddie and yes no one who knows racing can ever say SV is not a very talented driver as are all these guys who drive f1 . This is why they are the best in the world and this year has just leveled the playing field is all and i have a feeling MS would have got the merc onto podium as well so Bahrain is going to be great too

eddie. i mentioned the exhaust thing a day or two ago, and some disagreed! the entire airflow principle was different between the two. sebs blew onto the duct vanes, and webbers blew on to the diffuser, under the bridge. interesting that there actually wasnt much difference. but seb is so easy on tyres, he nearly produced a shock result! rob wont be happy :) :)
the main problem with the bulls now, is that they are geared too low, and hiting the rev limiter too soon. they could do this safely last year, but it is hampering them this year.
