F1 » Button undone by poor pace and puncture

Jenson Button had been having a bad enough Bahrain Grand Prix, but the last laps put the final nail in the coffin of his race hopes with a puncture and technical issue forcing him to retire.

Started out strong but now falling behind due Pit mistakes and car lacking pace. Perhaps you and Lewis should have a sit down with Martin Whitmarsh about that upcoming Mugello test...

A very tight season so far where the fastest cars seem to vary from race to race, and I love seeing multiple winners. McLaren are (in my opinion) usually among the best at developing the car over the course of the year, but have some work to do with strategy and pitstop execution. It will be interesting to see what updates are brought to the Mugello test and worked onto the cars for Spain. I also wonder if anyone will have figured out an efficient way to copy the Mercedes DRS duct.
