F1 » Di Resta jubilant with 'massive' sixth place

Force India's Paul di Resta made a two-stop strategy work where others couldn't in Bahrain, and he was jubilant with his reward of sixth place.

@ Buzz45 Still lots of teams with big wallets out there - LH to Marinello ? (would fit the merry go round of F1). Paul Di Resta has seriously impressed me since he came into F1 - solid character - seems to get solid results out of lesser machinery - never seen him throw his teddy out of the pram ala LH. I suspect he'll get a really serious drive next year - McLaren or Ross B will get him.

I know I keep banging on about him but he genuinely is the real article.

I hope one of the top teams offers him a drive next year, he's outperforming his team mate big time.

Remember this was his first race there while Hulkenberg raced there in 2010.

@ George
I agree with everything you say except I can't see Alonso having Lulu in the same team again after he was humiliated by him at MacLaren.
I'm glad to see all the posts so far recognise Pauls talent and maturity.

If Schumacher retires at the end of this year, it's not unrealistic for Di Resta to be at Mercedes in 2013. By then i'd imagine they have a race winning car.

Hulk on the other hand is not so happy as he was during start of the season...

Maybe the car is not suiting him...but clearly Di Resta is having some legs on him
