Be careful Dan.
You are not driving for the most tolerant team on the grid..
These things could come back to haunt you. You are just luck that your teammate is under-performing quite badly.
Any speculation on the NEXT two drivers that Torro Rosso will bring up?

droog. vergne underperforming ricciardo? have you not been watching the races? vergne, with NO f1 experience, is faster than daniel. he can start from pit lane and still finish ahead of him!

We will see at the end of the year Richard.

You of all people should know the troubles
in the events that have beset Daniel.

This time he is taking the wholesale blame.

You want to talk Qualifying.

Toro Rosso made a big mistake by passing up a chance for Robert Wickens. Soon enough they'll be facing him in a Mercedes-powered ride after he makes his mark in DTM.

commodore. you know full well that having a good lap in quali, does not win you the race. if that was so, lulu would be leading the wdc!

lol. funny, i was saying last year that driving for hrt meant little, and now you seem to be confirming that! but he at least has some experience at f1, even if at the back. vergne has NONE.

commodore does not like me saying this, but originally, i had high hopes for daniel. but his performance , even in the hrt, and more recently in str, does not have any signs of a particulat talent. eah, mainly eventually a reasonable mid field driver, but i cannot see a wdc in him, yet.
now, i'll put on the blindfold.....

Richard in each event this year Daniel has done well in qualifying but yes that does not mean you are going to be competitive in race mode.

Go back mate and have a look at the bad luck or adversities Daniel has had to face during the races:

Flat Tyres/Wing Damage. etc which all entailed pitstops.

In this case he admits his mistake at the start and also suffers wing damage,

The young bloke has got talent and proven it within other categories.I may not like Markos which you disagree with but I think he has made a wise choice with Daniel

No need for sarcasm with the blindfold comment.

Keep it congenial.

I think it's now proven beyond doubt that Aussies in Red Bull liveried F1 cars can't start.

On a more serious note: a blind man can see that so far Ricciardo has had Vergne's number, qualifying pace is the decisive factor for a rookie IMO. That said definitive conclusions will have to wait till the end of the year and probably next year, cause STR can't very well throw one of these drivers out come the end of this year as it would be a PR nightmare after what happened in the past in this team.
