Blublz, as per the rules MS took a grid penalty because the gearbox seals were broken and that means that he can have a complete gearbox change for the next race, it will be an all new carbon housing design that is lighter, NR must wait until Monaco.
Mclaren is planning modifications at the rear of the car that require a new gearbox shape, without the tactical retirement in Bahrain Button would have had to wait until Monaco for the new gearbox and so modifications to the rear of the car.
