F1 » Button out to tick boxes in Spain

Jenson Button: Barcelona can be a funny circuit: we all test there so regularly that every driver knows it like the back of his hand, yet it can still be an extremely tricky place to get absolutely right.

Lets be realistic here, neither McLaren driver will win in Spain. Particuarly not JensoncantfindthebalanceButton, if car blance is of paramount importance in Barca as he states. McLaren is the worst top team when it comes to pitstops, not only have they got the timing wrong most of the time, then they also got the order wrong of who to pit first and to top it of they make a total mockery out of unscrewing the tires that even the HRT guys can not help but laugh at them. One of them McLaren boys might get lucky enough to end up in the top 5 though.

And they need better drivers pronto. The tire saver is too slow and the other one is maybe not among the brightest of the pack. To succeed in modern racing you need speed AND intelligence, so this driver pairing which is more of a compromise is a little overrated imo.

Here are some simple facts.
When Alonso and Hamilton were in the same team, Hamilton humbled Alonso.
When Button moved to macLaren he beat Hamilton. What is there to work out?

More facts that concur with Buzz
When Button joined BAR honda, Villeneuve said "If Button beats me, I will leave FI" or something very similar, Villeneuve left F1. When Rubens was allowed to, he beat Schumacher. When Button and Rubens were in the same car, Button beat Barrichello!!!

In Button's FIRST year at McLaren, where did he finish to Hamilton?

In Alonso's FIRST (only) year at McLaren, where did he finish to Hamilton? And which driver was the team backing for the last few races of 2007?

Get your facts straight.
