So you stick your modern F1 factory, supporting a fledgling team somewhere with little F1 manufacturing history, nice and far away from England which is overflowing with specialist manufacturing expertise and you expect to move up the grid? Talk about handicapping yourself, the Spanish Government must be bankrolling HRT to the tune of millions!

I wonder if it will spectacularly fold in a few years time owing millions and having paid senior staff millions? Surely not.

DreadUK, that the majority of F1 teams are based in the UK it's a fact but regarding suppliers and specialist firms giving a service to the F1 teams you will be surprised how many are based in another country other than the UK.

Not sure the Spanish Government is going to bail anyone out! Spain is going the way of Greece only it is going to be 100x worse.

Spanish Govt. has to worry about keeping the lights on, not blowing hundreds of millions on some back marker F1 team!
