Bet you that's NOT what he was expecting when they told him he had a role at Pirelli....

On a serious note, I still think he's better than a couple of drivers currently on the grid...

Shame it wasn't a permanent position, unfortunately he still has time to share his many years of F1 wisdom on the BBC interactive channel. I'm listening to him squeaking away in pigeon English during FP2 at the moment, it's painful.

I have to wonder what the BBC's ideal candidate breakdown for a F1 pundit looked like, experienced, successful and an ability to speak English would have been high on the list of requirements I'd have thought but obviously young, Spanish, squeaky, and no success comes a lot cheaper.
