Lewis Hamilton's pole position is under threat, and will be the subject of a post-race stewards' review after the McLaren was parked out on track during its in-lap.

It was a fantastic lap by Hamilton and it would be a shame if he was penalised. If the car still had 1.3l of fuel left, he wouldn't have gained any advantage for this. We'll wait and see!!

with his advantage, he could have have 5ltrs left, and still be the fastest ...

but rules are (as i remember) - you have to finish outlap and have a ltr fore fuel sample left - he didnt finish!

Seems to me from the pit message that LH didn't know anything about it and was just told to stop. It would be a shame as his lap was so much faster than anyone else, but was also very fast in Q2.

I think that a fitting penalty would be to fine the team some championship points, as it looked like a team **** up.

Whitmarsh is saying it was a technical reason without saying anything more..I'm not convinced and the stewards are not stupid. And I hope Mclaren don't expect Hammy to lie again. Mclaren will lose this wdc from errors if they aren't careful
