I'm shocked to hear this. The Williams team has had great joy then almost immediately this near disaster kicks in which just goes to show how dangerous F1 can be. The camaraderie between these men fighting the fire shows there is still respect between the teams, thank God. And I hope the injured make a full recovery.

It's too soon to say exactly what happened, but Sky saying it occurred after a fuel leak, as fuel was being extracted from Bruno's car.
Whatever the cause, calls for KERS to be banned isn't sensible. No doubt, more safety procedures will be brought in to lessen the chance of this happening again.

There was talk of William share price rising after Maldonado's victory, then this, it will cost them.

I hope the 31 injured will be ok!

Me thinks, why not re-introduce refulling which caused less fires than we have now, in 2012. Five races in, two fires, one @ Lotus, another at Williams.

Just a thought :)

It's a miracle there wasn't a fatality, Kers and Kerosene are not good company. There's obviously still issues with Kers. It's a pity, It was a magic day for Williams, Hope everyone is ok.
