By the time the local fire crews got there the fire was extinguished - they took a while which should be expected as they would be from the local fire station some distance from the circuit. But there should have been an onsite fire team on scene within minutes (5 at most). I was watching live as it happened and the white truck with the hose reel took st least 10. Not even sure if they were a fire crew as they were In tee shirts not even fire kit.
The dangers still exist as they break down all their kit not just when there's racing going on.
