I've seen two races now where Kimi has been on tyres that had 'gone over the edge' with a queue of cars behind him, appearing to be holding them up, and the team have elected to stay out till the last possible moment, the results on both occasions havent been good

Damn right. They did this in Bahrain and now again in Monaco. His tyres were done and dusted, and they kept him out waiting for rain.
Even in Spain last race they kept him out about 3-4 laps too long. If they'd pitted him earlier he could've challenged for the win.

Lotus need to get their heads out of their asses when it comes to race strategy, chop chop.

lotus are poor with pitstops also compared to other teams... (ok not mcclaren)

both of their drivers are good, the car is good... the bozo's involved with race strategy however...
