Totally agree with Alguersuari regards Alonso. He is getting the best out of a car that has not been as quick as the Bulls,Mcca and the Mercs and yes it is his driving ability in all conditions but mostly when in cool or wet conditiond that is making the difference and i agree with Alguersuari Alonso is the top f1 driver at the moment, that there can be no doubt about.

As for JB he should make a come back if the car is right, and that is the difference the likes of Alonso,Vettel and Hammi can still be competitive if the car is not working to how they would like and that is why JB is going to have to show the maturity that Alguersuari is talking about as we have seen him really struggle the whole of the last two GP weekends when the car is not perfect.

How can Massa compete and continue to thrive when he was told, "Fenando is faster than you", with Ferrari effectively demoting him to number two and crushing his competitive spirit?

Today, the press and all the critics are flogging him for driving like a number two driver, what is the man supposed to do, when he has to give way to Alonso at every turn?

Setting aside the double standards, I think he should be applauded for coming back from his horrific accident and still hang on to his sanity in the nut house that is Ferrari.
Alonso is good, but his demands are toxic to whoever has the misfortune of being his team-mate.
Massa is way better than he is being given credit for, and given an equal chance, he too can drive the wheels off that donkey that is Ferrari.

Alonso can compete just as well with a strong team mate, he did that at McLaren, that episode just wasnt managed very well. This year plenty have said the relationship between the driver and his engineer will be of major importance, Fernando's engineer sounded like he had his feet up reading the paper while asking Fernando to 'tell me about tyres in your own time', perhaps Felipe 'and' Rob Smedley need to up there game. Still though, there are still a lot of races to go and a whole lot can still happen in the 2012 Track Temperature Championship, chances are Alonso will find a way to adapt what he does.

Racehound, you ought to try a little harder. I wouldn't be much of a troll if I didn't have a thick skin.
You are probably sat on a wooden chair as you wage your mini little keyboard war. Planks do have their uses.
What might you be, then, a tool in need of a plank?
