My opinion about some of these salaries:
Mark Webber Red Bull Racing 10m too much considering that he did not win a title
Felipe Massa Ferrari 10m too much see Webber
Nico Rosberg Mercedes 10m too much see Webber
8. Michael Schumacher Mercedes 8m OK he was a 7-time champion after all
10. Heikki Kovalainen Caterham F1 Team 4m FARRRRR TOO MUCHHHHHH TOTALLY OVERPAID it's a bad joke

11. Timo Glock Marussia F1 Team 3m the same as Kovalainen, horrible performances of the cars and overpaid unimpressive drivers, but I also see why the 2 of them are so satisfied with their jobs
Romain Grosjean Lotus F1 Team 1m OK, although overpaid for a crash-kid
14. Nico Hulkenberg Force India F1 500,000 should earn more
Sergio Perez Sauber 500,000 should earn more
18. Pastor Maldonado Williams 400,000 should earn more, but he brings the sponsors so maybe they pay him more
21. Bruno Senna Williams 250,000 OK, "what's in a name...?" - nothing
23. Paul di Resta Force India F1 200,000 should earn more
24. Charles Pic Marussia 150,000 should earn a bit more

With the likes of Charles Pic, Pastor Maldonado and Narain Karthikeyan all paying for their drives, are their salaries a cut from their own personal sponsorship money?

Of the 24 drivers on the grid at least 6 are paying for their seat (pumping millions into the coffers of their respective teams), it is interesting to know what they bring to the team as against what they take.
Pastor Maldonado (45m sterling) Bruno Senna (12m sterling) Vitaly Petrov (12m sterling) Sergio Perez (???) Narain Karthikeyan and Charles Pic both (5m sterling.
and there cme Sir Frank Willims and said, Maldonado ws chosen on merit!
