Rojo, youv never heard of a guy called Michael Schumacher have you. He was earning triple (70million a season) what Alonso is earning now a few years back...

Also, Alonso isnt driving a dog of a car people, if he was, he wouldnt be where he is. Get a grip.

giveway. there is a vast difference between "salary" and earnings. as far as i can remember, the most schumi ever got as a "salary" from ferrari, was 25m. all other earnings were from sponsorship deals, on a personal level.
alonso is on 30m from ferrari, but i would imagine that you could add another 25m from sponsorship.

these "disclosed" figures are only base salaries, nothing more. for instance, maldonado "gives" 25m just to drive, but is shown as being "paid". vettel has a base of 10m and gets 1m for every race win, or by points, and probably gets around 25m last year from rbr, plus all his endorsements. AND he doesnt have a manager creaming it off, like schumi had!

Richard, why are you spouting whats already been said by others?

The topic is "Salary" - which is a yearly earning, regardless and none inclusive of sponcer endorsements or intra team handouts. Sorry I thought we were all on the same page here. For the most part you are guessing as to what Vettel is getting paid extra, personally I dont care.

As for Schumacher, there was an article in 'worlds richest sports stars' a few years back, 2006 (?), he was number 2.

Of course Vettel has a "manager"! lol

give way. its just your analogy was confusing. you said that schumi was earning triple what alonso is, and that was 70m. now, given that alonsos salary is 30m and that doesnt include sponsorship details, how could you possibly say that schumi was earning triple what alonso is earning?

and as for seb. yes, he has NO manager, unless you know different. he does it all himself!

willi took some astronomical percentage of schumis income, i think it was around 30%. so i suppose that your figure for schumi should be lowered to reflect that?

Giveaway... With all due respect to your utter ignorance regarding RoJos sway atleast please listen to Richard... Hes got everything spot on...
1. Vettel has no manager and Willi Weber is trying to barrage up his behind trying to convince him to sign with him but Vettel is smarter than that
2. Schumi made a max of about 22 million sterling as BASE SALARY during his time at Ferrari. So when Kimi moved in his BASE SALARY was the highest ever paid out before recession hit. If it wasn't for this there's no denying that Santander would have made Ferrari pay him a higher wager. They were anyway paying 45 million sterling in 2010 including KR's stay away package. Go read up on the world's largest sports contracts and KR's 153 million 3 year base contract was a shell shocker
Even crashing his rally car into the hills and valleys still netted KR about 23 million dollars last year all thanks to his marketability and endorsements.
