I think it's the right encouragement for the guy, its been a pity to see Feleipe struggling to get in a good drive, not that winning is everything. He seems to have got into the same situation as JB has been in which is altogether strange.

I really feel for Massa, he was a great talent pre the accident, I can only assume that he's not quite the same driver, and do wonder if its his sight in one eye that just takes the edge off his driving.

Massa seems to have found his pace again. He should concentrate on beating Alonso here and there and try a seat with Red Bull or Mclaren for next year. Hes definitely fast he proved that teaming up with Alonso is a dead end for any driver.

@Gorbachov,

Do you really think mcLaren or Red Bull will want Massa? I doubt it very much. He would not be attractive to any of the top teams, as he had a very poor 2011 and has been very poor this year so far. The top teams will be looking for drivers who are fast and who are at least beating their team mate on occasions.

I can see Massa going somewhere like Williams, Toro Rosso or Sauber.

@Mark Gorbachov is right team managers are not fanboys who see F1 through a TV. Massa is one of the top drivers out there he had that bad accident and was picking up speed again to the point where he would win a race then he had Ferrari telling him "Felipe you are number 2 let Alonso by!" that on the same day 1 year anniversary of his almost fatal accident. Ferrari broke Massa mentally that day as he believed them when they told him both drivers would have same treatment. Imagine learning the truth at almost 300km/h! Now Massa should do as Gorbachov advised! He got the speed he beat Hamilton, Raikonnen all other top drivers in F1 I doubt a Di Resta or Perez are in the same level clearly they aren't.

I'm kinda in different about Massa. I think if around the right environment he could he good pre 2009 again. Perhaps if LH does leave McL, he could slot in there or if MW does switch, he could do a 1 year deal at RBR. Ever since FA showed up, the team have all but told Massa "We are behind him, you are just warming up a seat for X driver." Of course McL or RBR is a bit wishful thinking. I think he could end up back at Sauber, or at Williams, FIF1 if they dump any drivers.
