Finally, a McLaren spokesman who acknowledges mediocrity in the racing operation. How about moving Mr Whitmarsh out of 'leadership' and into a position that he's capable of?

If McLaren continue to spend millions to gain hundredths of seconds per lap and lose whole seconds per race with amateurish pit stop antics and bonehead strategies, they deserve to lose both drivers.

They are looking around seeing young racers who potentially could bring the same resoults for less money. That said, Lewis is a gamer and he would find a top team soon

If hamilton had the consistent pit stops as ferrari have given their drivers their would not be so much for Hamilton to consider regarding a new contract. I've said already, he has really showed a different attitude toward consistent finishes for maximum points toward championship, Mclaren need to get up to speed if they really want to challenge for championships

"with amateurish pit stop antics and bonehead strategies"

Hmmm, I'm guessing your not a fan of Martin Witmarsh then...not convinced by him myself but shouting at the team over the radio and stabbing them in the front doesn't help either.....just saying

McLaren has said many times since the start of the season that they want to re sign Lewis. All other talk from the usual posters is ***** envy. Nothing more. He will sign for major dollars and will be in the series for years to come.

rob. no, sadly for you, lulu went , with his tail between his legs, to try and get red bull to give him a job. but the only opening they had was for a 'gopher'. he tried the same with ferrari and they offered him a similar job. p45 on the way?
