No ty, Mclaren's race pace. Lewis just getting the best out of a slowing car just look at his teammate who is struggling with the Mclaren.

As for the positions if you keep putting your car in contention but your team allows the pit crew to do the opposite what can Lewis do.

sorry Ty did not see that question. Easily answered though. If your employer is about to make you the richest driver in that companies history you say things to keep them happy and telling the truth about the Mclaren car lacking race pace would not be prudent.
