F1 » Ferrari: We tried to win

Ferrari was left disappointed when their one-stop gambit cost them not only the race win for Fernando Alonso, but any podium position at all. But at least they'd tried.

Wait a minute here, where does he gets those numbers from? Alonso pitted on lap 19 and Romain on lap 21. But he's right I don't think they anticipated such a fall off from the tires, they probably expected a gradual drop off but, from one lap to another the drop was close to 2 secs. Red Bull reacted inmediately mainly because Vettel pitted a couple of laps before Alonso and salvage a 4th place. Basically Ferrari got caught with their pants down. Learn from it and move on. Still, Ferrari should be keeping a close eye on Perez and his amazing tire management skills.

Very very silly strategy! Ferrari never learn! You react to your competitors Vettel and Hamilton! They should have gone in to change tyres 2 laps after Hamilton once it was clear that Hamilton had warmed his tyres sufficiently. Failing that, they should have reacted immediately Vettel did so as to stay ahead of him. Instead they fell asleep again as they did last race in 2010!

Prize CHUMPS!!

2010 All over again! Someone has to wake Domecelli(sic) up!Every time the team gets to a point where they can achieve something he does the stupidest thing he can do. He must have a masochist streak somewhere and what can Alonso do except defend his team...watching and trying to improve is Massa, I think Dom should be set straight as well, pull up your brain or move on!

No it was poor strategy not Alonsos driving that let them down, but don't let that stop you from having your usual dig at Alonso! You are just so predictable, yawn!!!

What a joy to see the little cheat so humiliated.

His utter desperation to beat Lewis was so obvious, and so satisfyingly led to his downfall. Being beaten by a Latino was just the icing on the cake !

After the race all he could say was that he had 10 points more than Button and Raikkonen... Twice he mentioned this line like it was a mantra to keep the Demons away.

He is an inadequate little man and psychologically an utter crackpot, nasty and bitchy, with an ugly tendency towards crowing when something goes right.
