F1 » Perez podium 'boost' for Sauber

Sergio Perez has said that he hopes his Canadian GP podium will help end a personal barren run stretching back to his last podium in Malaysia.

Wish Sauber would give Kamui a chance to take a podium or two. Good strategies always go Perez's way. Hardly surprising when you've got a car covered in Mexican sponsorship.

Exactly. Nice result by Perez but this weekend it should have been Kobayashi on te podium, he was quicker in qualifying and right ahead of Perez at the beginning of the race, but then they gave him an impossible strategy that had zero chance of working.

It's a shame really and not all that smart if you ask me, cause they could have scored a lot more points which could mean millions at the end of the year.

I know Perez has all the financial backing behind him and I rate him very highly as well but Sauber don't need to make him look better than he is by dragging down koba.

Good drive by Perez but Kobayashi I feel is still the real hero of the team, he outperforms Perez most of the time but just doesn't get the strategy as well as Perez does! Two podiums for Sauber this year, I feel that Kamui deserves a bit more for his efforts!

Actually Koba himself picked the two stop strategy saying that was the route to go but during the race he realized he could do it with one stop. As for bad luck well Perez has had his share but don't worry Koba will get his chance as well. This talk about favoritism is utter bullsh*t
