F1 » No bright side to Canada for Button

Try as he might, Jenson Button couldn't find an upside to his dismal Canadian GP weekend which saw him slide backwards during the race to a disappointing 16th place finish.

Ok, and the people who know nil about racing have rocked up... Perez had no grid issues, perez wasn't shredding his tyres.. Perez ALSO got to run in ALL sessions...

And as for having a different excuse every week, REPORTERS ASK WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS! He can only answer to the best of his ability...

Grow up girls. He has no pace at present and has admitted to as much, what more do you want? Calling him pathetic is quite funny actually, considering you're probably gonna go get into your little MK1 Golf and roll it trying to go fast around a corner somewhere..

merlin. button used a new rear suspension in practice, but in quali, he reverted to the normal one. but he was running brembo brakes whereas lulu was running ci units. could this have made a difference? but as his tyres were being destroyed after a few laps, it would appear that there may be something findamentally wrong with his chassis?

It was weird, JB's front tyres kept unloading/locking up starting in Pl and continuing right through to the race.
I know Macca run a stiff chassis, but surely they could have changed roll bars or otherwise loosened up the suspension to attempt to address that.
Sadly, JB is now inhabiting Lulu's 2011 mindset, hopefully he will do a reset and get back to form.
On another note, did anyone see that very sweet shot of Jessica in a Macca team shirt? Hair half pulled back, and looking very "girl next door". Yummy.

i don't know why people are surprised by button? we have known for a long time that unless the car is 'perfect' for him he doesn't perform well. Teflon and Hamilton can 'drive' around problems and adapt but that has never been Button's game.
That's why I've never felt he was one of the top drivers like Teflon, Bieber and Hamilton.

I'm a Lewis fan and I'm glad he won. However, the last thing I would do is to deride button. He just not having it his way like MS but I have no doubt that his time will come. Go Lewis, go Jenson.

We all know how much of a great driver Jenson is... you don't win a world championship and challenge the mighty Ferrari's and beat your highly regarded team mate by being an average driver!

There is something fundamentally wrong with his side of the garage after such a sting start to the year! I still have a feeling it could be the new nose, he was beating Hamilton in the first 4 races with the old one and new one makes the air under the car flow differently under the car and gives it different downforce, I think it benefits Hamilton and hinders Button... it's just a hunch but I could be right!

LH is able to extract more from his car while button is waiting for a perfect car that will never come. you his fancy and him (buttom) cant keep using suspension excuse for 4 different race.

The last 4 race were in different tracks with different requirement so why is he the only person week in week out with issue.

The truth of the situation is because of the car been so closed together making an average driver like button suffer.

unlike LH last who was crashing he button clearly lack LH race speed simple.
