F1 » No bright side to Canada for Button

Try as he might, Jenson Button couldn't find an upside to his dismal Canadian GP weekend which saw him slide backwards during the race to a disappointing 16th place finish.

arcuid. you should know by now that there are always some who claim their favourites car is being sabotaged. they cannot accept that their driver is haing a bad day, or bad luck. but we know that NO team would sabotage ANY driver. but still, it doesnt worry the conspiracy theorists.

Taigherkin is probably trying to work his way out of a staight jacket as we speak. His fingers probably twisted into knots. And agree with others that there is NO WAY a team will sabatoge its own driver. The only paying championship is the constructors. And it takes both drivers to achieve that goal.

DROOG, u r absolutely spot on, jessica being spoken to by JB's mechanic shortly b4 he went out for the remaining 12min or so....she looked radient, sexy, delish. I think JB needs to address his suspension as it is impossible 4 him to all of the sardine start abusing his tyres. I think he needs to revert back to the car he had b4 the tests?!

Sorry Jayne, been a bit busy.

I'd like to know what's going on with Button, a good driver doesn't just suddenly become bad and equally a good car doesn't just suddenly become bad. Button looked great in that car for the first couple of races so what's changed?

I can only think of 2 things.

1. They changed the nose on the car a month or so ago, has that caused the balance problems for Button?

2. Lulu needs a nice new contract, wouldn't look too good if JB was continuing to out drive him in most races. I would put nothing past Ron Dennis.....

@richard & @arcuid don't you both start saying that the Jenson fans think his car is being sabotaged!

All the Hamilton fans were like broken records saying that his car was being sabotaged for the past year even up to Saturday!

I don't know who you're fans of but neither car is being sabotaged, only occasional fans would think that, I hope Jenson improves I'm sure he will because... HE'S NOT AN AVERAGE DRIVER you must be blind or stupid to think a world champion is average!

@ Liam48 FINALLY someone talking sense about Jenson and someone who clearly hasn't forgotten how good this guy really is/can be . Forget all this he needs a perfect car nonsense theres a serious problem somewhere and when its fixed you will see the real Jenson again.

@Liam48 I was only replying to Barbara who on her post suggested the possibility. Why the heck would a team ruin their chances of a Constructors Trophy by sabotaging one driver over another? Jense should be up there with Sebs, Lewis and Fernando fighting for points as I said in my initial post in this thread. Have you read or seen it? As Taipan kindly had said they did change the nose design on BOTH cars and that's where his troubles started. One likely scenario I mentioned in this thread is possibly how Jense has set up his car after the nose design change in response to Jayne. Clear and fair enough of an explanation for you?
