Sebastian Vettel had flown to pole position on Saturday, but when it came to race day in Canada he found his plans thwarted by heavier tyre wear than expected.

He took out from the starting line with his usual gapping of the field. Pressing these tires is a sure way to go slower. He just needs to use he head instead of the gas pedal. Sad to say that, when it is called a race.

After these races I find myself saying, "that race kinda sucked..." Because we are not seeing the best man and machine win. We are seeing a "however the chips fall" kind of tire lottery.
