It was only a year ago he told Eddie Jordan live on BBC that he was the team leader, you would be thinking bro this is your second year at McLaren Lewis has been here since 8 and he didn't claim he is the team Leader. I guess his mind games worked on Lewis.

There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism. if the team don't know what is going on or that your not happy with things how are they going to help you improve your game. after all it is a team game not just the drivers. if people think Button is a moaner, then they have no clue how to be a racing driver and a team player.

As fans we can debate, discuss and argue as much as we can but at the end of the day the adage that "the only constant is change" is so true in F1, especially this season. The button who is struggling today might just pull out a strong win in the next race. That is why I really respect drivers like Alonso, he has been enticed so many times to comment on his under-performing team mate (Massa) but, all he says is that he believes Massa will bounce back some time. He understands that in F1 you don't underestimate anyone, all you do is to push, push and push relentlessly. F1 has a myriad of factors that affect car, driver and team performance and one small factor sometimes might have huge impacts, positively or negatively.

Mclaren should be very embarassed by Button's current problems, the engineering team are really not doing their jobs, what a waste of a great driver(ask Frank Williams) and opportunities. Mclaren should be walking away with, at the very least, the constructor's championship.

Certain people need to follow the race results more closely before they give their blinkered views on a particular McLaren driver. Despite the fact there seems to be so much wrong with the car atleast one of the drivers happens to be running at the front and leading the championship. Like i have read on here the same driver who is leading the championship been told stop complaining and get on with it when he has had something to say. Even when he gets put to the back of the grid.
