AAAAAND Cue the haters with ridiculous statements...

I think Mclaren have shown that they are willing to stick by their drivers. And hopefully they can nurse Jenson back to the front. It would be awesome to see some double Mclaren front rows and to see him and Lewis fighting it out for wins!

Sam was saying on sky after the race that Jenson could not adapt like Lewis with car changes because he needed the car to be spot on now he saying something else.

Personally, I am pretty sick of so much talking about Button. He already is an outsider for this year title. Despite McLaren improving race by race he should beat his team-mate first of all and I find it impossible at the moment. Enjoy your 2009 title JB. Maybe you will win another world title in another sport but in F1, definitely not.

Jenson, Sam Michael and Martin Whitmarsh have done a stirling job this season with rebuilding Lewis confidence. It was very kind of them and they know it's time to stop this charade. We all know Jenson is at least 2-3 seconds per lap faster than Lewis in reality.

It's been a superb plan well executed - the public and media have fallen for it hook, line and sinker - and I can't wait to see reality resume and Jenson back where he belongs - the top step of the podium every race.

The only way Button would be 2 or 3 second faster than Lewis is if Whitmarsh worked overnight on Lewis's probably short fuel Lewis

Bloody he'll mate, you really are trying to get the Hamilton fanboys in a tiz. I predict a record number of disagrees and an onslaught of diatribe after that post!

Why would anyone disagree? Only the truly gullible can believe that Jenson can't handle these tyres. He is the smoothest, most intelligent F1 driver of them all and knows exactly how to extract every iota of grip out of the Pirelli's.

He's also a gentleman, and has decided that getting Lewis into 'a good place' is far more worthy than a few extra pots in his trophy room.

I honestly think this button story is over done now.Cant everyone just be patient, wait and see him drive this weekend? Give the guy some breathing space, all this talk about how he will turn things around just increases presure on the guy. The more they talk about it the more its beginning to appear that he might be in panic mode already. We know about his suspension issues in Canada, he has got his setup from Lewis, he sat with his Engineers to sort everything out so hope its gonna be a positive outcome. We had sterling performances in Canada from young talents like Perez, lets focus on them.
