Oh I'm pleased to see this news. Schumacher and Caterham are my main points of interest in F1. I believe at least one of them will succeed sooner or later.

Caterham have jumped to an average of about 2.8sec off pole this year. That's a real improvement over last year! The thing is that teams like Williams and Sauber in particular have made big leaps forward, and Toro Rosso and Force India are competitive too. The top 18 in F1 seem to be separated by something like 1.5sec! This makes it look like Caterham aren't getting anywhere, when they are. Would Kovalainen have had a hope of outqualifying a Mercedes last year or in 2010. as he did in Bahrain?

If Caterham had had their 2012 level of performance in 2011, they would have been fighting tooth and nail with Williams, and challenging Toro Rosso, Sauber etc ahead.

Now that Mike Gascoyne has been pushed sideways towards the Caterham Cars side and John Illey, Mark Smith and Steve Neilson are there running F1, I really believe/hope they could make big steps over the rest of the year.
