Goes to show you the class that Alonso has. In Montreal he knew he was out of it and stayed out of trouble. Not the Hamster. No rubber left but again, puts the stupid back in his racing career by fighting with Maldonado when he knew he could finish the race and get some points, but no, he decides to make a dogs dinner out of it.

Maldonado came off the track and he could have waited for a better moment, but at the same time, Hamilton took a great risk that cost him the race, when it was clear that he'd lose that position, if not in that lap, in the next one, since he had no tires and we know what happens this year when the tires say no more. Also he should know that a podium is a victory for Maldonado, who's not there for the championship, but for chances like that, and he would not give up that chance. Hamilton sometimes does not care what's in stake. It's better to drop one position than to risk the championship. Alonso dropped like 5 positions in the last race, but he thought about the championship and he didn't waste any energy trying to stop cars that were 2 or more seconds faster than him. He might miss those points at the end of the season.

Hamilton was clearly at fault for the incident with Maldonado. He pretty much pushed him out of the track giving him no room to have all four tires on circuit and in the heat of the moment Maldonado has no choice but to bounce over the kerbs into Hamilton. And once again Brundle being a Hamilton fan straight away points out that it cant be Hamilton's fault. Anyway what a great race from Schumacher, Webber, Hulkenburg and Alonso done well too.
