Truly entertaining chaotic race, may not suit the purists but more of the same please. Bad luck for Vettel & Hamilton, but Alonso, ever the specialist of salvaging the best outcome, well deserved the win.................

A truly fantastic drive by Alonso, one of the best of his career. Scary thing for everyone else is that he and Ferrari usually get stronger in the second half of the season. A much deserved 3rd WDC could be on the way.

Did anyone notice that Vettel was on for a Grand Chelem prior to the breakdown? Pole, led all laps (even during pit stops) and had the fastest lap, would have been the second of his career. Rare things these days.

Congratulations Alonso, cream always rises to the top, it's no coincidence that he is always there to reap the rewards of others misfortune, I am absolutely gutted for Vettel and have to question how a few bits of carbon caused by a flailing tyre justifies a safety car but 3 marshals pushing another car along the track does not. I don't want to look like I am suggesting anything when Jean Todt was having such a lovely time with Luca di montezemolo at the track on Saturday, nor would I suggest the Spanish or the Italians would cheat in any way but the FIA will and do manipulate the rules and races to achieve a result that suits certain participents, like the rule change during silverstone last year or the change in time for Valencia last year that also boosted Ferrari's races.

AWESOME RACE. Let me start by saying that aside from the domination Vettel showed until his retirement Alonso's victory is well deserved!!! It was truly emotional to see Alonso and his fans and crew celebrate, the podium was spectacular with Kimi and Schumy (two former Ferrari champions and one in the making)10 championships combined!!
Valencia:
Alonso+Ferrari+spanish fans+victory=Epic Celebration

Vettel=Tough Pill to Swallow specially after saying he wasn't worried about reliability(Karma is a B***)

Schumi+Webber=2 old fashion dogs marching through the field in a clean, controlled manner.

Hamilton+Maldonado=boiling blood 90% chances of a crash(Maldonado finally got his revenge for Monaco)

Grosjean=Great drive could have even won/ heart breaking retirement.

Vergne/Senna/HRT= If ya'll leave, nobody is gonna miss your sorry as***
