F1 » Alonso: Nothing compares to this

Fernando Alonso has said that, while he has had better races from a racing point of view, few came close to matching the emotion of Sunday's European Grand Prix.

Look at this driver. He is simply extraterrestrial....Fantastic, majestic, stunning and a little bit lucky, but nothing can deny his great performance yesterday. I will pray to god that next race he starts from pole and Vettel from 11th place. I am pretty sure that Seb won't have a chance to claim P1 at the end of the race. Because they are great drivers in F1 (like Seb, Lewis, Nigel, Nelson) and they are excellent drivers (like Fernando, Michael, Ayrton, Alain) in F1. They can make the real difference.

Did Montezemolo go home after qualifying? Anyway, the way Alonso stopped out on the track reminded me of the classic days, such as Mansell and others celebrating with the crowd and carrying their respective national flags.
Even though his car broke down, it was still a nice way to see this type of celebration.

Oh dear! Alonso has to have had one of the luckiest wins ever yesterday. The always reliable RedBull poped its clogs, a safety car due to a little debris, a jack failure in the McLaren pit and a some on track mayhem and inconsistent tyre performance!
That was a lucky win and nothing special, Ferrari and Alonso 'lucked in' nothing to do with skill or winning car ability yesterday!
